After a defensive mix-up in Eggjareir BF's zone, Leonard Rudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Svardal came out of the goal and Leonard Rudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Dag Finnerud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eggjareir BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tjong BF the free kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Even Vist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tjong BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Even Vist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Øyvind Karlsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Stian Svardal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stian Svardal was a little too slow when Xuoco Saavedra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. The throw-in from Sebastian Lysaker in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tjong BF's Øyvind Karlsen. Tjong BF's attentive Øyvind Karlsen managed to snatch the ball when Jonas Knoph made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Øyvind Karlsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Xuoco Saavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Svardal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Stenersen made the kick off in the second half. Eirik Haugvaldstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Stian Enoksen made a huge save. After some careless play in the Eggjareir BF defense, Leonard Rudi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stian Svardal. The Eggjareir BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stian Svardal should have stopped the shot. Daniel Stenersen might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stian Enoksen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Stenersen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Øyvind Karlsen in the 68th minute of play forced Eggjareir BF's goalkeeper Stian Svardal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eirik Haugvaldstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Eggjareir BF got a freekick which was hit by Dag Finnerud. In the 86th match minute, Eggjareir BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Stenersen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Øyvind Karlsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjong BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Øyvind Karlsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stian Svardal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Leonard Rudi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tjong BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Rudi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes, Finn Stene mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eggjareir BF and the Tjong BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even Vist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stian Svardal. Eggjareir BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
