Bjørkeåsen IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overbygden FF the free kick. After some careless play in the Bjørkeåsen IF defense, Runar Elvebakk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terje Solbakk. The Bjørkeåsen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terje Solbakk should have stopped the shot. Terje Solbakk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sturle Foss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Lauvås sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bjørkeåsen IF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jørgen Tande hit a great ball. Runar Elvebakk's late challenge caught a Bjørkeåsen IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Runar Elvebakk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Overbygden FF's Runar Elvebakk got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Sturle Foss made a precise shot to the right of Terje Solbakk. Bjørkeåsen IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 27 minutes of play, Overbygden FF's Runar Elvebakk made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terje Solbakk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thorbjørn Valstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Terje Solbakk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sven Wiggen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjørkeåsen IF's protests and gave Sven Wiggen a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Wiggen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Terje Solbakk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Elvebakk, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Terje Solbakk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sturle Foss's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Thorbjørn Valstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sturle Foss was the one to do the kick off. In the 76th minute Kristen Vestbø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Aanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Bjørkeåsen IF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Johanssen. Jonathan Lauvås was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Overbygden FF booed when Bjørkeåsen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lauvås didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terje Solbakk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tommy Klæboe. Terje Solbakk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Tveiten in the 94th minute. Terje Solbakk made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Alexander Hansen sent off a good shot on target. Overbygden FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
