Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erling Viken kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Stig Alver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reidar Levang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Vikavågen FK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjørn Opland. The supporters of Polarcirkel Wolverines booed when Vikavågen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Østli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjørn Kildahl kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The long shot by Eilif Lindås in the 15th minute really tested Reidar Levang's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Reidar Levang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Dagsland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Torbjørn Opland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reidar Levang was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 24 minutes of play, Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 40 minutes of play, Polarcirkel Wolverines's Ola Røine made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjartan Fagervold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Tonning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kjartan Fagervold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjartan Fagervold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Viken in the 45th minute of the match. Ola Røine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kjartan Fagervold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Viken in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Torbjørn Opland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reidar Levang having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Torbjørn Opland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polarcirkel Wolverines's Reidar Levang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ola Røine charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Røine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vikavågen FK booed when Polarcirkel Wolverines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Røine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Polarcirkel Wolverines got a freekick which was hit by Ola Røine. Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjørn Opland in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reidar Levang saved Polarcirkel Wolverines from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Eirik Langhelle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reidar Levang was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reidar Levang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 84th minute of the match Eirik Langhelle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reidar Levang skillfully saved the ball. Kjartan Fagervold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polarcirkel Wolverines.
