Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Morten Eidsvåg started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Sturle Foss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Kvandal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Overbygden FF's Tommy Klæboe to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristian Kvandal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sturle Foss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kristian Kvandal made a huge save. Kristian Kvandal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Runar Elvebakk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Falkensten getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fredrik Buvarp hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Overbygden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Rosland came free, but Niklas Aanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Thorbjørn Valstad fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overbygden FF's protests and gave Thorbjørn Valstad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Overbygden FF's Thorbjørn Valstad got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Falkensten's zone, Tommy Klæboe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Kvandal came out of the goal and Tommy Klæboe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falkensten's Albert Omholt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Audun Lilletvedt came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Overbygden FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Audun Lilletvedt couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sturle Foss to strike the kick off in the second half. Jack Rolstad kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Tommy Klæboe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Kvandal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Runar Elvebakk made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Kvandal. Falkensten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Kevin Tveiten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Runar Elvebakk hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Storm Hilde charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Storm Hilde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes in the game, Morten Eidsvåg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Niklas Aanes having to interfere. In the 71st minute Albert Omholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Aanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Overbygden FF defense, Marius Rosland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Aanes. The Overbygden FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Aanes should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Tommy Klæboe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Rosland during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Falkensten got a freekick which was hit by Marius Rosland. Alexander Hansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kristian Kvandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sturle Foss came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Overbygden FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sturle Foss couldn't finish the play. Kristian Kvandal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Overbygden FF got a freekick which was hit by Runar Elvebakk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sturle Foss in the 89th minute of play forced Falkensten's goalkeeper Kristian Kvandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Falkensten defense, Runar Elvebakk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Kvandal. The Falkensten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Kvandal should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Sturle Foss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Kvandal was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
