Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Rakkestad IF's Fabiano Ornelas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reidar Levang came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Rakkestad IF's Fabiano Ornelas. But to his dismay, Fabiano Ornelas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Andrzej Dobrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Ornelas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reidar Levang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erling Viken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrzej Dobrowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reidar Levang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Dobrowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabiano Ornelas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reidar Levang having to make a save. Fabiano Ornelas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reidar Levang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Fabiano Ornelas scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reidar Levang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Rakkestad IF's Fabiano Ornelas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reidar Levang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Andrzej Dobrowski took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reidar Levang. Reidar Levang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rakkestad IF's Andrzej Dobrowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Birger Soltvedt, made in the 31st minute of the game. Fabiano Ornelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Reidar Levang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reidar Levang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Dobrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Polarcirkel Wolverines's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konrad Dziewedik was slow to take the kick. During this time Rakkestad IF's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Fabiano Ornelas put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Reidar Levang. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristobal Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rakkestad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Ornelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Reidar Levang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Andrzej Dobrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rakkestad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrzej Dobrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reidar Levang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bjørn Kildahl kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Viken to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Ornelas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reidar Levang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Ornelas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reidar Levang came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabiano Ornelas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Fabiano Ornelas sped through Polarcirkel Wolverines's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reidar Levang. Fabiano Ornelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reidar Levang having to interfere. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when Polarcirkel Wolverines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Blomvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Ornelas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reidar Levang was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Rakkestad IF's Robert Pirès was substituted for Romain Declerck. Andrzej Dobrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Polarcirkel Wolverines's goalkeeper Reidar Levang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Røine in the 73rd minute of play forced Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Christophe Pourre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Joachim Hylland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reidar Levang. That made the score 0-8 in the 75 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rakkestad IF's Reidar Levang threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrzej Dobrowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Andrzej Dobrowski took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Reidar Levang to make any attempt to save it. When Rakkestad IF's Andrzej Dobrowski in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polarcirkel Wolverines's goalie prevented a goal. Rakkestad IF's Johan Ødegården was substituted for Andrzej Dobrowski. After 88 minutes Polarcirkel Wolverines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Konrad Dziewedik who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rakkestad IF's corner Konrad Dziewedik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reidar Levang quite easily take care of the ball. Reidar Levang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Ødegården, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Ødegården in the 93rd minute of play forced Polarcirkel Wolverines's goalkeeper Reidar Levang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rakkestad IF played a much better game than Polarcirkel Wolverines and deserved their victory. The Polarcirkel Wolverines players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
