Kåre Engen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Isac Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Brække hit a great ball. Isac Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Garvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Anders Rosvold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harald Friestad was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Isac Åkerman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 played minutes Aakeröen IF got a freekick which was hit by Fridtjof Nilssen. Olaf Krasniqi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Tor-Henrik Wisløff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match, Kåre Engen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isac Åkerman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Raven Raiders booed when Aakeröen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Raven Raiders were the better team. Raven Raiders's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
