Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steinar Bergset kicked off to start the match. Bent Høiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Steinar Bergset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reidar Levang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Olsson in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steinar Bergset in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reidar Levang saved Polarcirkel Wolverines from getting behind. The supporters of Polarcirkel Wolverines booed when Storsæter BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eirik Alnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eirik Alnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reidar Levang having to interfere. Bjarne Lindstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Gjelstad in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Steinar Bergset from a close distance when the talented Reidar Levang managed to make a qualified save. Polarcirkel Wolverines's players were relieved. Steinar Bergset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reidar Levang having to interfere. Bent Høiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Storsæter BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Røine came free, but Bjarne Lindstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Sebastian Tonning to score against Bjarne Lindstrøm in Storsæter BK's goal. 1-1 after 38 minutes. Steinar Bergset's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Reidar Levang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Polarcirkel Wolverines's Reidar Levang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Polarcirkel Wolverines from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Stein Engh struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Reidar Levang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storsæter BK. Storsæter BK's Steinar Bergset got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steinar Bergset in the 57th minute of play forced Polarcirkel Wolverines's goalkeeper Reidar Levang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Polarcirkel Wolverines's goal looked a bit too open when Steinar Bergset came free, but Reidar Levang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Storsæter BK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Stein Engh hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Sebastian Tonning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polarcirkel Wolverines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storsæter BK the free kick. In the 67th minute of the match Yngve Olsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reidar Levang skillfully saved the ball. Reidar Levang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eirik Alnes in the 68th minute of the match. Steinar Bergset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Reidar Levang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Røine's late challenge caught a Storsæter BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ola Røine helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Polarcirkel Wolverines getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ola Røine hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Yngve Olsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reidar Levang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Stein Engh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storsæter BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polarcirkel Wolverines the free kick. After a rather tough play, Polarcirkel Wolverines's Peder Blomvik got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Polarcirkel Wolverines booed when Storsæter BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Thorgersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polarcirkel Wolverines's Reidar Levang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Bergset in the 93rd minute of play. Reidar Levang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Bergset in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Storsæter BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polarcirkel Wolverines had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
