Spectators: 7879 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1825, VIP seats: 54) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tommy Storebø got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Bjørkeåsen IF's Sven Wiggen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor-Magnus Helgerud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2 minutes into the match, Sven Wiggen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor-Magnus Helgerud. Leikvika SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Wiggen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Leikvika SK's goalkeeper Tor-Magnus Helgerud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håvard Hasle. Christoffer Valland took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Terje Solbakk. Terje Solbakk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The long shot by Håvard Hasle in the 20th minute really tested Tor-Magnus Helgerud's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 20 minutes into the game, John-Edvin Tellefsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leikvika SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjørkeåsen IF the free kick. After 21 played minutes Leikvika SK got a freekick which was hit by John-Edvin Tellefsen. When Jørgen Tande fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjørkeåsen IF's protests and gave Jørgen Tande a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bjørkeåsen IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jørgen Tande hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Håvard Hasle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jørgen Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kristen Vestbø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Magnus Helgerud having to interfere. When Vetle Hay came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Leikvika SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vetle Hay couldn't finish the play. After the first half Leikvika SK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håvard Hasle to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Tommy Storebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terje Solbakk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terje Solbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vetle Hay in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Wiggen in the 65th minute of play forced Leikvika SK's goalkeeper Tor-Magnus Helgerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Kristen Vestbø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor-Magnus Helgerud. Leikvika SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristen Vestbø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bjørkeåsen IF's Terje Solbakk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Bjørkeåsen IF from getting a goal against them. When David Kaupang fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjørkeåsen IF's protests and gave David Kaupang a yellow card for diving instead. David Kaupang kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Vetle Hay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Håvard Hasle fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjørkeåsen IF's protests and gave Håvard Hasle a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Bjørkeåsen IF got a freekick which was hit by Håvard Hasle. After some careless play in the Bjørkeåsen IF defense, Vetle Hay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terje Solbakk. The Bjørkeåsen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terje Solbakk should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Bjørkeåsen IF's Terje Solbakk got control of the ball when Christian Storøy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Leikvika SK booed when Bjørkeåsen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Wiggen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Terje Solbakk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tor-Magnus Helgerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristen Vestbø, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Bjørkeåsen IF's goalkeeper Terje Solbakk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Storøy. After 90 played minutes Leikvika SK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Storebø. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sturle Alme during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Leikvika SK got a freekick which was hit by Sturle Alme. 95 minutes into the match, Kristen Vestbø notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Leikvika SK's Tor-Magnus Helgerud. Tor-Magnus Helgerud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
