Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sturle Foss kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Overbygden FF booed when Værøy IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Aanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ask Nesbø in the 9th minute of play. Wilhelm Nilsson took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Aanes. Niklas Aanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Joakim Ryeng fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overbygden FF's protests and gave Joakim Ryeng a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Værøy IL's goalkeeper Sture Mikaelsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Hansen. A collision led to Værøy IL getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Theodor Langaas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Værøy IL's zone, Tommy Klæboe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Mikaelsen came out of the goal and Tommy Klæboe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Værøy IL booed when Overbygden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Hansen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lennart Østensen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niklas Aanes. Overbygden FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sture Mikaelsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Klæboe in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ask Nesbø to make the kick off. Theodor Langaas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Christoffer Skretting replaced Carl Ulset. Værøy IL's Lennart Østensen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Niklas Aanes but with some difficulty. Niklas Aanes made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Wilhelm Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Værøy IL had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
