Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Marthinussen started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Grima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Gilde to maneuver through the defense. Simen Lyngmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Johan Kofoed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Grima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gjermund Ullestad to maneuver through the defense. Inge Worren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. When Christian Marthinussen fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grima's protests and gave Christian Marthinussen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Grima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Marthinussen to maneuver through the defense. Reidar Finnøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. If Inge Worren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Molland got a freekick which was hit by Inge Worren. Inge Worren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. Johan Kofoed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reidar Finnøy, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Reidar Finnøy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Kofoed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Worren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Johan Kofoed made a huge save. Reidar Finnøy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reidar Finnøy to make the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Inge Worren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Worren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Gjermund Ullestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Reidar Finnøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Storvik made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Thomas Gilde sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Marthinussen in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Storvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alf Storvik acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andreas Bell. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Gilde got free with Alf Storvik in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Inge Worren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Molland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 83 minutes into the match, Molland's Reidar Finnøy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johan Kofoed narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play Grima's Christian Marthinussen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 86 played minutes Grima got a freekick which was hit by Christian Marthinussen. Inge Worren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Worren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. Thomas Gilde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alf Storvik made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Grima's zone, Inge Worren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Kofoed came out of the goal and Inge Worren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Molland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
