Kjerkefjord FF's Jostein Nordahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Gundersen in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Henrik Gundersen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jostein Nordahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the Kjerkefjord FF defense, Henrik Gundersen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jostein Nordahl. The Kjerkefjord FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jostein Nordahl should have stopped the shot. Jostein Nordahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Gundersen's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Jostein Nordahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Gundersen went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Egil Hussain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrik Gundersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Nordahl having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Henrik Gundersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jostein Nordahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Diavoli Rossoneri got a corner. Kjerkefjord FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennart Bergene ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 24th match minute, Kjerkefjord FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurits Sæterbø to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ragnar Aunan made a precise shot to the right of Herman Refseth. Diavoli Rossoneri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Gundersen was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Helge Løge fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 61st match minute, Kjerkefjord FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Skogstad to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Henrik Gundersen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jostein Nordahl. The goal made the score 1-6. Herman Refseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Åsen in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Espen Stava during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Diavoli Rossoneri got a freekick which was hit by Espen Stava. Henrik Gundersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Nordahl having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Steffen Åsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjerkefjord FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Åsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Diavoli Rossoneri defense, Ragnar Aunan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Refseth. The Diavoli Rossoneri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Refseth should have stopped the shot. Egil Hussain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jostein Nordahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Henrik Gundersen made a precise shot to the right of Jostein Nordahl. Kjerkefjord FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Åsen in the 94th minute of play. Jostein Nordahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Gundersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The attack was good, but when Henrik Gundersen in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Kjerkefjord FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diavoli Rossoneri were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
