Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gard Granerud started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Øystein Seglem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. DeMarcus Baker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans Johannesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DeMarcus Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Johannesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Frode Haraldstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. DeMarcus Baker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Vindix spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halvor Almaas to maneuver through the defense. Vindix spartans were furious when Philip Høiby was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Sandstøl FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frode Haraldstad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vindix spartans's DeMarcus Baker. 2-0. Halvor Melum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jostein Strømme in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Hans Johannesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. DeMarcus Baker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Kjell Phan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vindix spartans's DeMarcus Baker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Vindix spartans from getting a goal against them. Halvor Almaas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Sandstøl FC's DeMarcus Baker threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Johannesen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. DeMarcus Baker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frode Haraldstad in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Øystein Seglem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandstøl FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Johannesen to make the kick off. DeMarcus Baker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Johannesen went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Hans Johannesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeMarcus Baker having to interfere. DeMarcus Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Johannesen in the 58th minute of play. DeMarcus Baker came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandstøl FC's Frode Haraldstad. But to his dismay, Frode Haraldstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jostein Strømme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sandstøl FC's zone, Christian Brønstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halvor Melum came out of the goal and Christian Brønstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Brønstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Halvor Melum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DeMarcus Baker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øystein Seglem in the 85th minute of the match. DeMarcus Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Johannesen in the 87th minute of play.
