After 15 played minutes Korssund got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Gunnar Brenne. In the 16th minute, Stig Kvalnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Kvalnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Korssund getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mario Grande hit a great ball. The Kjellsea fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Kjellsea's Stig Kvalnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ole-Gunnar Brenne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jostein Bergland hit a great ball. Stig Kvalnes charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Kvalnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Korssund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. Anders Gudbrandsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jostein Bergland in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jostein Bergland to make the kick off. Stig Kvalnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Conrado Arias made a huge save. In the 57th match minute, Korssund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noe Flaks to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Stig Kvalnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kjellsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Kvalnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Kjellsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Brandal to maneuver through the defense. Stig Kvalnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjellsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Øye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kjellsea booed when Korssund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Gunnar Brenne didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Korssund getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tage Pettersen hit a great ball. After 92 minutes, Jostein Bergland made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jostein Bergland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kjellsea players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
