Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gard Granerud got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Vindix spartans's Halvor Almaas got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Molland's Simen Lyngmo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vindix spartans's DeMarcus Baker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vindix spartans from getting a goal against them. Alf Storvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halvor Almaas in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Vindix spartans's DeMarcus Baker got control of the ball when Simen Lyngmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Simen Lyngmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of DeMarcus Baker. Simen Lyngmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sigurd Moi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Vindix spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnstein Lyngvær to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Reidar Finnøy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but DeMarcus Baker was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Simen Lyngmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but DeMarcus Baker made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Simen Lyngmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. DeMarcus Baker was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Molland's zone, Halvor Almaas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Storvik came out of the goal and Halvor Almaas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Molland getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reidar Finnøy hit a great ball. Alf Storvik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gard Granerud, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reidar Finnøy made a kick off. Vindix spartans's Gard Granerud got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DeMarcus Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reidar Finnøy, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. DeMarcus Baker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reidar Finnøy went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Vindix spartans's goal looked a bit too open when Simen Lyngmo came free, but DeMarcus Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Worren in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck DeMarcus Baker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Worren in the 67th minute of play forced Vindix spartans's goalkeeper DeMarcus Baker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vindix spartans's Halvor Almaas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Inge Worren struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. DeMarcus Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molland. Christian Brønstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alf Storvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simen Lyngmo scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of DeMarcus Baker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vindix spartans's DeMarcus Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Elden in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Vindix spartans's goal looked a bit too open when Simen Lyngmo came free, but DeMarcus Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeMarcus Baker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reidar Finnøy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Elden hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Jostein Strømme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Vindix spartans's goal looked a bit too open when Reidar Finnøy came free, but DeMarcus Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeMarcus Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reidar Finnøy in the 93rd minute of play.
