Roar Winther kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jostein Bergland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jostein Nordahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Esparteiro's late challenge caught a Kjerkefjord FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Esparteiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Korssund got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Esparteiro. In the 12th minute Steffen Åsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Aunan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Conrado Arias made a huge save. Jostein Nordahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jostein Bergland in the 15th minute of play. Jostein Bergland struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jostein Nordahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korssund. The crowd rose to their feet as Ragnar Aunan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Arias. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 30th minute Jostein Bergland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jostein Nordahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steffen Åsen made a kick off. Jostein Bergland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Nordahl having to interfere. If Mario Grande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korssund's Conrado Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurits Sæterbø in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Kjerkefjord FF booed when Korssund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Esparteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Aunan in the 73rd minute of the match. If Jostein Bergland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jostein Bergland hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Kjerkefjord FF defense, Jostein Bergland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jostein Nordahl. The Kjerkefjord FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jostein Nordahl should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
