Pål Gamst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Marthinussen in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Grima's Didrik Bjørnstad got a free kick in the 30th minute. Martin Bjørn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Johan Kofoed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bjørn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. If Dag Hauan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didrik Bjørnstad in the 42nd minute of play forced Sølvguttene's goalkeeper Pål Gamst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grima's Christian Marthinussen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sølvguttene players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grima were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Dag Hauan made the kick off in the second half. Pål Gamst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Marthinussen in the 55th minute of play. Johan Kofoed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Hauan in the 57th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Martin Bjørn sped through Grima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johan Kofoed. In the 65th minute, Thomas Gilde made a precise shot to the right of Pål Gamst. Sølvguttene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Christian Marthinussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Gamst having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Christian Marthinussen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sølvguttene the free kick. Christian Marthinussen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pål Gamst made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Didrik Bjørnstad sent off a good shot on target. Johan Kofoed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bjørn, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Gjermund Ullestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Gamst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bjørn in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Kofoed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Bell hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Martin Bjørn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Kofoed showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sølvguttene's Kim Velle got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Grima supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grima would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
