When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Jekthamna's Jonas Bredesen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Runar Myrhaug. Thomas Larsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Hestnes having to make a save. In the 10th minute Thomas Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hestnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Sivert Kapstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tømmeråsfjorden and the Jekthamna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tømmeråsfjorden's Sivert Kapstad got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Eirik Fossan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Bredesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Runar Myrhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Hofseth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Runar Myrhaug having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Thomas Hofseth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Tømmeråsfjorden's goalkeeper Runar Myrhaug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Hofseth. After some careless play in the Tømmeråsfjorden defense, Thomas Hofseth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Runar Myrhaug. The Tømmeråsfjorden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Runar Myrhaug should have stopped the shot. Verner Vestby kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Tømmeråsfjorden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 61st minute, Verner Vestby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Runar Myrhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Hofseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Hofseth in the 82nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Jekthamna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tømmeråsfjorden:s goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Andreas Hestnes. In the 95th match minute, Tømmeråsfjorden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Larsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 97thth minute of the game Thomas Hofseth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Runar Myrhaug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Hofseth went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Jekthamna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
