In the 24th minute, Kåre Håpnes made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Hestnes. Jekthamna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Brekke notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Jekthamna's Andreas Hestnes. The audience was convinced that Thomas Hofseth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor-Kristian Næs was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jekthamna players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
