After a defensive mix-up in Gandviken's zone, Amund Bruvoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Aae came out of the goal and Amund Bruvoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Langholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Stefan Langholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bogsbybabes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rune Aasbø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Tønsberg having to interfere. Tor Aae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Nekstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vidar Longva made a kick off. Stefan Langholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Aae having to interfere. Jan-Ivar Nymoen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bogsbybabes booed when Gandviken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorbjørn Bruheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Aae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amund Bruvoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bogsbybabes's Erik Tønsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Longva in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Rune Aasbø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Tønsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Vidar Longva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gandviken and the Bogsbybabes players grew even worse after the yellow card.
