The Tømmeråsfjorden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Runar Myrhaug should have stopped the shot. Bogsbybabes's Erik Tønsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Larsen in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Bogsbybabes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espen Pilskog to maneuver through the defense. Runar Myrhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Langholm in the 20th minute of play. Runar Myrhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Nekstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Stefan Langholm sped through Tømmeråsfjorden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Runar Myrhaug. Sivert Kapstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Erik Tønsberg made a huge save. Runar Myrhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Nekstad in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Krister Nekstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Runar Myrhaug was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Runar Myrhaug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krister Nekstad's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Bogsbybabes's Stefan Langholm made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Runar Myrhaug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Tønsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Vestby in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Arnøy to strike the kick off in the second half. Espen Pilskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Tønsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Larsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Krister Nekstad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Runar Myrhaug. That made the score 0-5 in the 60 minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Espen Pilskog dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Runar Myrhaug, 0-6. After 69 minutes, Krister Nekstad made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 74 minutes of play, Bogsbybabes's Krister Nekstad made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Runar Myrhaug was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Fredrik Arnøy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Arnøy in the 80th minute of play forced Tømmeråsfjorden's goalkeeper Runar Myrhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Fredrik Arnøy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogsbybabes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Arnøy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stefan Langholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Nekstad in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Bogsbybabes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tømmeråsfjorden.
