Spectators: 8027 (Terracing: 6022, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egil Bekkevold started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Dæff FK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Lid came free, but Erik Rystad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odin Nymo in the 6th minute of play forced Dæff FK's goalkeeper Erik Rystad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Martin Lid notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dæff FK's Erik Rystad. Erik Rystad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 played minutes Dæff FK got a freekick which was hit by Egil Bekkevold. The supporters of Dæff FK booed when Sæter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Eide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Rystad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Lid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dæff FK's Egil Bekkevold got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Dæff FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf-Hendrik Lindstrøm to maneuver through the defense. Ulf-Hendrik Lindstrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Bekkevold was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Daniel Vetrhus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf-Hendrik Lindstrøm in the 35th minute. Martin Lid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Rystad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Martin Lid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Erik Rystad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Rystad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odin Nymo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 60 played minutes Dæff FK got a freekick which was hit by Åge Laugen. In the 63rd minute of the match, Martin Lid got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erik Rystad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Dæff FK's goal looked a bit too open when Odin Nymo came free, but Erik Rystad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Lid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Dæff FK's Erik Rystad got control of the ball when Martin Lid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erik Rystad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd minute, Martin Lid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
