Sannes's Jan-Ivar Severinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Sannes from getting a goal against them. Jan-Ivar Severinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole-Johan Elton, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Aleksander Remme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gräsklipparna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Remme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sannes's Thor Sollie got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole-Johan Elton spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sannes's goal. Jonathan Jansson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Sannes's Thor Sollie in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Halvard Tessem guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Jonathan Jansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. A collision led to Gräsklipparna getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jonathan Jansson hit a great ball. Thor Sollie got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Halvard Tessem handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gräsklipparna's zone, Thor Sollie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halvard Tessem came out of the goal and Thor Sollie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Halvard Tessem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Edvin Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Elias Sangolt hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alf Hageland made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Ole-Johan Elton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gräsklipparna and the Sannes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gräsklipparna's Ole-Johan Elton got a free kick in the 56th minute. Thor Sollies short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Halvard Tessem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Sannes's Thor Sollie in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gräsklipparna's goalie prevented a goal. Alf Hageland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ivar Severinsen having to interfere. Jon-Inge Vea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halvard Tessem having to interfere. If Alf Hageland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sannes getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. John-Edvin Jonsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jon-Inge Vea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sannes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Inge Vea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halvard Tessem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Thor Sollie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halvard Tessem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thor Sollie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Thor Sollie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Halvard Tessem, passed just outside the right post. Sannes played a much better game than Gräsklipparna and deserved their victory. The Gräsklipparna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
