Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brage Røhne started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Puma IL getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Johan Låstad hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halvard Ursin got free with John-Einar Jønsson in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Johan Låstad fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puma IL's protests and gave Johan Låstad a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Selvaag booed when Puma IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Låstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Thomas Haraldstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puma IL and the Selvaag players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Thomas Haraldstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ådne Søndenå fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Wolden having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Markus Furuheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wolden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Schjølberg kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Johan Låstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tim Wolden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Ådne Søndenå made a precise shot to the right of Tim Wolden. Selvaag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 34th minute, Halvard Ursin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Selvaag's Thomas Oksnes got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th match minute, Selvaag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Ramfjord to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Rasmus Berg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Wolden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Halvard Ursin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Johan Låstad made the kick off in the second half. Brage Røhne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. John-Einar Jønsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John-Einar Jønsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halvard Ursin went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tim Wolden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Låstad in the 63rd minute of the match. Halvard Ursin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. John-Einar Jønsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvaag. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brage Røhne in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John-Einar Jønsson saved Puma IL from getting behind. John-Einar Jønsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brage Røhne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Selvaag's Brage Røhne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John-Einar Jønsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Halvard Ursin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. John-Einar Jønsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Halvard Ursin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selvaag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 89 minutes into the match, Puma IL's goal looked a bit too open when Brage Røhne came free, but John-Einar Jønsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Halvard Ursin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John-Einar Jønsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selvaag fully deserved thier win.
