An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Slåtten in the 8th minute of play forced Kvisgaard's goalkeeper Jakob Klette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Holmefjords short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Thomas Steinsvik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kjetil Slåtten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jakob Klette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Johnson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Lambertseter got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Johnson. Lambertseter's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Fredrik Flatmo scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Steinsvik, making the score, 1-0. Thomas Steinsvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Flatmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjetil Slåtten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Klette having to interfere. Lambertseter's Kjetil Slåtten got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Steinsvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Flatmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Flatmo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Martin Holmefjord managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvisgaard's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Holmefjord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Steinsvik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Steinsvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Holmefjord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Flatmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Fredrik Flatmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Steinsvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Holmefjord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lambertseter getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bertel Bjerkestrand hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lambertseter's zone, Fredrik Flatmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Steinsvik came out of the goal and Fredrik Flatmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Martin Holmefjord came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kvisgaard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Holmefjord couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Martin Holmefjord notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lambertseter's Thomas Steinsvik. Thomas Steinsvik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Flatmo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Steinsvik saved Lambertseter from getting behind. Lambertseter's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kvisgaard had won, even though Lambertseter had held more of the ball.
