Jonas Grytten kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Bjørn Thommesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Høyvågen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjørn Thommesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Thor Molund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Ueland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trym Idland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Ueland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Haraldstad in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trym Idland in the 31st minute of play forced Schwinet's goalkeeper Kenneth Ueland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Høyvågen defense, Thor Molund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arild Norderhaug. The Høyvågen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arild Norderhaug should have stopped the shot. Arild Norderhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Rognan in the 37th minute of play. Thor Molund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arild Norderhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Thor Molund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schwinet's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Molund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arild Norderhaug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Molund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Høyvågen's zone, Mikael Rognan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arild Norderhaug came out of the goal and Mikael Rognan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Rognan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Arild Norderhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Molund in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the game, Cai Hildrum landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Jens Grindheim kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Thor Molund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Arild Norderhaug was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arild Norderhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Molund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Høyvågen's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Rognan came free, but Arild Norderhaug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Thor Molund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kenneth Ueland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Schwinet's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
