Vebjørn Rognan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Oborski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Josef Kielland managed to get in a good position for a shot. TsF Rognan's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Kielland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn-Christian Lilleås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederick Velkeneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Schou in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbyszko Oborski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Smolan getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vebjørn Rognan hit a great ball. Josef Kielland took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Finn-Christian Lilleås. Finn-Christian Lilleås dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Frederick Velkeneers hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Smolan were awarded a corner. Tim Schou went to the cornerflag to take it. Tim Schou made a great header on Smolan's corner, it was just that TsF Rognan's Zbyszko Oborski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute, Christoffer Høiberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbyszko Oborski came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Smolan's Tim Schou. But to his dismay, Tim Schou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, TsF Rognan's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Høiberg came free, but Zbyszko Oborski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszko Oborski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vebjørn Rognan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Schou in the 28th minute of play forced TsF Rognan's goalkeeper Zbyszko Oborski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Oborski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vebjørn Rognan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TsF Rognan's Zbyszko Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Høiberg in the 34th minute of play. Zbyszko Oborski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Schou in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Christoffer Høiberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Tim Schou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smolan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Schou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbyszko Oborski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Schou in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Frederick Velkeneers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TsF Rognan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smolan the free kick. In the 44th match minute, TsF Rognan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederick Velkeneers to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Høiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the TsF Rognan defense, Tim Schou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Oborski. The TsF Rognan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Oborski should have stopped the shot.

Christoffer Høiberg kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot TsF Rognan's keeper Zbyszko Oborski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 58th minute, Christoffer Høiberg made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Oborski. TsF Rognan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vebjørn Rognan in the 62nd minute of play forced TsF Rognan's goalkeeper Zbyszko Oborski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vebjørn Rognan in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Oborski saved TsF Rognan from getting behind. If Christoffer Høiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbyszko Oborski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vebjørn Rognan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The supporters of Smolan booed when TsF Rognan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Kielland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Vebjørn Rognan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TsF Rognan's Zbyszko Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vebjørn Rognan in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as John-Einar Vorland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Oborski. That made the score 1-4 in the 84 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Smolan's zone, Frederick Velkeneers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Finn-Christian Lilleås came out of the goal and Frederick Velkeneers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbyszko Oborski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vebjørn Rognan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erland Rakvåg kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Smolan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
