Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vebjørn Rognan started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Skreeros getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Terje Thygesen hit a great ball. Tim Schou struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Bjarte Sekse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smolan. Christoffer Førsund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Finn-Christian Lilleås. Smolan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Vebjørn Rognan lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Bjarte Sekse. In the 19th minute, Vebjørn Rognan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Skreeros got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Førsund. Christoffer Høiberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Bjarte Sekse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arthur Asheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn-Christian Lilleås having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Smolan's Ludvig Gjesdal got a free kick in the 28th minute. Finn-Christian Lilleås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hauk Granberg in the 32nd minute of play. Bjarte Sekse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vebjørn Rognan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Christoffer Høiberg put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bjarte Sekse. Hauk Granberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The Smolan fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Smolan's Christoffer Høiberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vebjørn Rognan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Bjarte Sekse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Hauk Granberg made the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Høiberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bjarte Sekse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smolan. Thanks to some nice moves Arthur Asheim could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Finn-Christian Lilleås however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute, Arthur Asheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjarte Sekse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Høiberg in the 69th minute of play. If Hauk Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Smolan getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Daniel Bergseng hit a great ball. If Christoffer Høiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Smolan's Christoffer Høiberg in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skreeros's goalie prevented a goal. Bjarte Sekse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffer Høiberg's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Christoffer Høiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Smolan's Vebjørn Rognan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bjarte Sekse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Smolan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
