Spectators: 7958 (Terracing: 5970, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stian Haraldstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. Johan Låstad scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arild Norderhaug, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arild Norderhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ådne Søndenå in the 6th minute of play. Arild Norderhaug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Låstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arild Norderhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ådne Søndenå in the 9th minute of the match. Arild Norderhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Furuheim in the 12th minute of play. John-Einar Jønsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Haraldstad in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Stian Haraldstad fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Puma IL's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Haraldstad came free, but John-Einar Jønsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Johan Låstad notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Høyvågen's Arild Norderhaug. Arild Norderhaug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Haraldstad in the 36th minute of play forced Høyvågen's goalkeeper Arild Norderhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Petter Krogsrud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arild Norderhaug. Høyvågen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johan Låstad took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arild Norderhaug. Arild Norderhaug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. John-Einar Jønsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Haraldstad in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Johan Låstad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arild Norderhaug. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Haraldstad in the 55th minute of play forced Puma IL's goalkeeper John-Einar Jønsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ådne Søndenå succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 57th playminute. In the 61st minute Bjørn Thommesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Einar Jønsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John-Einar Jønsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Haraldstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Trym Idland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Per-Kristian Sundgot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Høyvågen and the Puma IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Høyvågen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Kristian Sundgot to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Rasmus Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Høyvågen's Leon Nordtveit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leon Nordtveit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Høyvågen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leon Nordtveit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Puma IL's Rasmus Berg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arild Norderhaug. Stian Haraldstad scored 1-7 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John-Einar Jønsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes of play, Puma IL's Ådne Søndenå made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arild Norderhaug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ådne Søndenå recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arild Norderhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Haraldstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stian Haraldstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. John-Einar Jønsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Puma IL left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Høyvågen.
