In the 10th minute Tor-Kristian Eidem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Are Myrhaug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Henrik Gaup sped through Lokomotiv Såta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Henrik Gaup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Slyngstad having to interfere. Henrik Gaup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jim Slyngstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Henrik Gaup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blaze Of Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Gaup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kenneth Justad fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Såta's protests and gave Kenneth Justad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Kenneth Justad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Blaze Of Glory's Christian Aukland tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Martin Ulseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor-Kristian Eidem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Lokomotiv Såta's Tor-Kristian Eidem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Are Myrhaug. Are Myrhaug yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Henrik Gaup came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Blaze Of Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Gaup couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Graff in the 46th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Såta's goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Slyngstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Gaup in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tor-Kristian Eidem to make the kick off. Blaze Of Glory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Såta the free kick. A collision led to Blaze Of Glory getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Thor Klev hit a great ball. Dan Stormo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Gaup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Stormo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Trond Kvernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blaze Of Glory and the Lokomotiv Såta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lokomotiv Såta booed when Blaze Of Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trond Kvernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor-Kristian Eidem struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Are Myrhaug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Såta. 92 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Såta's Dan Stormo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Are Myrhaug narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lokomotiv Såta's Dan Stormo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blaze Of Glory's goalie prevented a goal. Henrik Gaup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jim Slyngstad made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Blaze Of Glory failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
