Halvdan Knapstad came out of the goal and Lars-Olav Hamnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Vidar Indergård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sommarsæte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Indergård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FortySix&2's Halvdan Knapstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 5th minute of play. Halvdan Knapstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Indergård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Indergård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sommarsæte's Vidar Indergård got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sommarsæte getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lars-Olav Hamnes hit a great ball. If Cent Mogen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FortySix&2's Halvdan Knapstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, FortySix&2's Asgeir Begum made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halvdan Knapstad saved FortySix&2 from getting behind. Halvdan Knapstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Indergård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cent Mogen made the kick off in the second half. Lars-Olav Hamnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halvdan Knapstad having to make a save. In the 54th minute, Sommarsæte's Lars-Olav Hamnes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Lars-Olav Hamnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halvdan Knapstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Indergård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, FortySix&2's Cent Mogen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Cent Mogen made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Sommarsæte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Sommarsæte's Henrik Espenes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sommarsæte's Stig-Inge Sandvær got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ingvaldsen in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Lars-Olav Hamnes took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Halvdan Knapstad to make any attempt to save it. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FortySix&2! The referee gave Sommarsæte a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Bartnes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FortySix&2's Halvdan Knapstad. 3-3. Sommarsæte were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FortySix&2 to leave the ground with a draw.
