That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. The supporters of Stormblåst booed when Foldrøyhamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Liknes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karsten Norli made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Kenneth Oftedal sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Ivar Starheim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karsten Norli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karsten Norli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon-Egil Nybråten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foldrøyhamn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Kenneth Oftedal scored to the left of an out of position Karsten Norli, making the score, 3-0. Mons Storvik charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mons Storvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kenneth Oftedal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Karsten Norli made a huge save. Karsten Norli made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kenneth Oftedal sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the game Christoffer Gustavson made a throw-in which Mathias Liknes played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Mons Storvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stormblåst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mons Storvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Foldrøyhamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tore Garshol to maneuver through the defense. When Kenneth Oftedal came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Stormblåst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Oftedal couldn't finish the play. Stormblåst's Simen Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Svenning in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Tore Garshol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simen Larsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peder Olberg made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Foldrøyhamn's Axel Eckhoff. Simen Larsson made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Mathias Liknes sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Stormblåst's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Svenning came free, but Simen Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Stormblåst's Olgierd Wallach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karsten Norli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Stormblåst's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivar Starheim in the 88th minute. Olgierd Wallach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Karsten Norli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karsten Norli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Oftedal in the 91st minute of play.
