Lars-Erik Fiksdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Svenning, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Mathias Liknes scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Sommarsæte's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Liknes came free, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foldrøyhamn's Karsten Norli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 22nd minute of play. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Liknes in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Henrik Espenes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karsten Norli. Foldrøyhamn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Espenes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Svenning in the 29th minute of play. Henrik Espenes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Stian Svenning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mathias Liknes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Erik Fiksdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Svenning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Mathias Liknes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathias Liknes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 1-3 became the score in the 45th minute when Mathias Liknes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The wind increased when Stian Svenning made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Vidar Indergård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommarsæte and the Foldrøyhamn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vidar Indergård kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hans-Erik Loe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Foldrøyhamn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Sommarsæte. Karsten Norli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Indergård in the 92nd minute of the match. Sommarsæte's Vidar Indergård got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Foldrøyhamn succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sommarsæte had controlled the match.
