Sivert Espeseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Morten Tømmervik fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Real Cochabamba's protests and gave Morten Tømmervik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Club Real Cochabamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morten Tømmervik to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Harald Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Kjelstad was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. A collision led to Club Real Cochabamba getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Severin Storås hit a great ball. With a little luck, Holstad's Sivert Espeseth got control of the ball when Severin Storås tried to sneak it across the goal line. Linus Naustdal's late challenge caught a Club Real Cochabamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Naustdal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Linus Naustdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Club Real Cochabamba got a freekick which was hit by Morten Tømmervik. Martin Kjelstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sivert Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Tømmervik in the 40th minute of play. Sivert Espeseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Tømmervik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Holstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morten Tømmervik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Tømmervik in the 58th minute of the match. Sivert Espeseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severin Storås, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Tømmervik in the 61st minute of play. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Tømmervik in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Niki Surbakti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sivert Espeseth skillfully saved the ball. Thomas Bodin's late challenge caught a Club Real Cochabamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Bodin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Holstad's Thomas Bodin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Club Real Cochabamba's Hans Hagland was substituted for Runar Bryne. The supporters of Club Real Cochabamba booed when Holstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Real Cochabamba made a substitution. Asbjørn Hornnes replaced Morten Tømmervik. But to his dismay, Asbjørn Hornnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asbjørn Hornnes in the 98th minute of play. Club Real Cochabamba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
