Martin Langerud took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolga Zengin. Tolga Zengin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Langerud to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeppe Midtskogen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asgeir Figenschau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Christian Grønningsæter hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Martin Langerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. TS Rena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Langerud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of TS Rena booed when Molde FKNorway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iver Aasberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Martin Langerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Zengin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asgeir Figenschau in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeppe Midtskogen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tolga Zengin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Langerud in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Langerud in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolga Zengin saved Molde FKNorway from getting behind. Martin Langerud scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolga Zengin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asgeir Figenschau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TS Rena had won after a very even match.
