The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Stephansen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arve Lysgård. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. A collision led to Fenstad FK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ferdinand Kausar hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Fenstad FK got a freekick which was hit by Oddbjørn Nyland. Arve Lysgård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Fimreite, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fredrik Molnes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fredrik Thygesen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borktor F.C.. With his leg Arve Lysgård managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Fenstad FK's Gunnar Stephansen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fredrik Thygesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Molnes in the 24th minute of play. Johannes Rudolfsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Borktor F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christian Bergmann hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Mårten Göransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borktor F.C. and the Fenstad FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, one of Borktor F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borktor F.C.. The goalkeeper, Arve Lysgård, was totally fooled by Fenstad FK's Oddbjørn Nyland, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 40 minutes, Wilhelm Fimreite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenstad FK and the Borktor F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Molnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arve Lysgård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Stephansen's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Borktor F.C.'s Fredrik Molnes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenstad FK's goalie prevented a goal. Fenstad FK's Gunnar Stephansen got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Borktor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Stephansen came free, but Arve Lysgård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans-Martin Kristoffersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fredrik Molnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Thygesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Seglem, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Borktor F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Skåra in the 74th minute. The corner ended in Henrik Skåra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fenstad FK's Fredrik Thygesen did a great save. The supporters of Borktor F.C. booed when Fenstad FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oddbjørn Nyland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arve Lysgård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Stephansen in the 83rd minute of the match. Christian Bergmann hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gunnar Stephansen took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arve Lysgård. Arve Lysgård dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Arve Lysgård didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Stephansen went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Arve Lysgård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Stephansen's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fenstad FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borktor F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
