Oddbjørn Haugli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Eiken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sondre Worren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Øyvind Espe hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Storhamar Fotball's goal looked a bit too open when Sondre Worren came free, but Erik Eiken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Jenssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes of play, Kovlands IF's Dag Anderssen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Eiken was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Sondre Worren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kovlands IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Kovlands IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anton Wetteland hit a great ball. Leon Jenssen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Sondre Worren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Eiken was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Aksel Grønvik kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Kovlands IF's Sondre Worren in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storhamar Fotball's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Leon Jenssen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Eiken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Sondre Worren sped through Storhamar Fotball's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Eiken. If Leon Jenssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sondre Worren took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Eiken. Erik Eiken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The Storhamar Fotball players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kovlands IF were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eilert Solsvik was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Storhamar Fotball defense, Sondre Worren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Eiken. The Storhamar Fotball fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Eiken should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Aksel Grønvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storhamar Fotball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovlands IF the free kick. Kovlands IF's Sondre Worren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 74th minute, Sebastian Dragland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sondre Worrens short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Erik Eiken to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dag Anderssen took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Eiken. Erik Eiken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Jonathan Øren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Eiken came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Øren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Storhamar Fotball's Erik Eiken got control of the ball when Sondre Worren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kovlands IF played a much better game than Storhamar Fotball and deserved their victory. The Storhamar Fotball players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
