The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Nannskog came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nykvaag's Zé Pedro Lopez. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Daniel Nannskog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Lopez in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Ishmael during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Nykvaag got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ishmael. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Øivind Kaasa to make the kick off. Geir Storvik kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Daniel Nannskog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Lopez in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rdth minute of the game Zé Pedro Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tysfjord FK's Daniel Nannskog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cai Hopland's late challenge caught a Nykvaag's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Hopland helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nykvaag booed when Tysfjord FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Hopland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Pedro Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jarle Hagerup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nykvaag's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarle Hagerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Nannskog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tysfjord FK's Daniel Nannskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Lopez in the 63rd minute of play. Jarle Hagerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nannskog having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Hopland in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastien Kennel saved Nykvaag from getting behind. Bastien Kennel had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Sebastian Kleiveland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tysfjord FK's Daniel Nannskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Lopez in the 72nd minute of play. When Thomas Salomonsen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. The supporters of Nykvaag booed when Tysfjord FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Salomonsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tysfjord FK's Cai Hopland got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nykvaag's Halvard Engebretsen got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Lopez in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Nannskog saved Tysfjord FK from getting behind. Ståle Maudal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Nykvaag could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tysfjord FK throughout the match.
