After 3 played minutes Stangnes Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Birger Strømsnes. If Svend Handeland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Tungland charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peder Tungland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ymse FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Stangnes Youth Academy. In the 13th minute, Hans Helle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stangnes Youth Academy's Hans Helle got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svend Handeland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stian Sundstrøm having to interfere. If Christoffer Johanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stangnes Youth Academy's zone, Svend Handeland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Sundstrøm came out of the goal and Svend Handeland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoffer Johanson got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kristian Opstad handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Stian Sundstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Handeland in the 35th minute of play. Svend Handeland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stian Sundstrøm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

Birger Strømsnes struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Kristian Opstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stangnes Youth Academy. Ymse FK's Svend Handeland got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Stangnes Youth Academy's zone, Chris Vedøy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Sundstrøm came out of the goal and Chris Vedøy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Christoffer Johanson from a close distance when the talented Kristian Opstad managed to make a qualified save. Ymse FK's players were relieved. Severin Leonhardsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stian Sundstrøm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Vedøy went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Christoffer Johanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kristian Opstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
