Frank Roe made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sam-Lucas Raniers sent off a good shot on target. When Elias Joa fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvåle's protests and gave Elias Joa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Kvåle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Joa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Phaiakes Bertsimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Norefjell Viking's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phaiakes Bertsimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, FK Norefjell Viking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Taranger to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jo Høye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hildeberto Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendik Bjørnøy in the 55th minute of play. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Phaiakes Bertsimas sped through Kvåle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Roe. Frank Roe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam-Lucas Raniers in the 62nd minute of play. Martin Tobiassen in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The FK Norefjell Viking fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. FK Norefjell Viking were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kvåle for a fine match.
