Spectators: 8050 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arne Syvertsen started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Trym Thorsrud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdal FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Młode Smoki FC the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Trym Thorsrud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Młode Smoki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morten Borgersen came free, but Arnstein Haraldsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trym Thorsrud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Arnstein Haraldsen made a huge save. Arnstein Haraldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gjermund Berre in the 7th minute of play. Morten Borgersen in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnstein Haraldsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 10 minutes, Trym Thorsrud made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Morten Borgersen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnstein Haraldsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gjermund Berre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morten Borgersen got free with Arnstein Haraldsen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnstein Haraldsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trym Thorsrud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Arnstein Haraldsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morten Borgersen went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Gjermund Berre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Trym Thorsrud dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnstein Haraldsen, 5-0. With a little luck, Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen got control of the ball when Gjermund Berre tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Młode Smoki FC's goalkeeper Arnstein Haraldsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morten Borgersen. Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gjermund Berre in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Verdal FK booed when Młode Smoki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Lorentzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Morten Borgersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Arnstein Haraldsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th play minute Morten Borgersen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnstein Haraldsen. 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trym Thorsrud was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Młode Smoki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trym Thorsrud came free, but Arnstein Haraldsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Morten Borgersen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Dalseth in the 57th minute of play forced Młode Smoki FC's goalkeeper Arnstein Haraldsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnstein Haraldsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gjermund Berre's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Morten Borgersen notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen. Arnstein Haraldsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Młode Smoki FC booed when Verdal FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gjermund Berre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Verdal FK's Trym Thorsrud made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnstein Haraldsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Gjermund Berre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnstein Haraldsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Morten Borgersen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnstein Haraldsen was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Arnstein Haraldsen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdal FK's Gjermund Berre. But to his dismay, Gjermund Berre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Arnstein Haraldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Borgersen in the 90th minute of play. If Morten Borgersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnstein Haraldsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trym Thorsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Borgersen in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Verdal FK were the better team. Verdal FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
