Arnstein Haraldsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Kvåle's Martin Tobiassen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnstein Haraldsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Arne Syvertsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frank Roe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jan Kleiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnstein Haraldsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Tobiassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Joa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Arne Syvertsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Młode Smoki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Syvertsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Kvåle's Jan Kleiv made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnstein Haraldsen was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Jo Høye kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Arnstein Haraldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kleiv in the 54th minute of play. When Tor-Arne Natvik fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Młode Smoki FC's protests and gave Tor-Arne Natvik a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Młode Smoki FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tor-Arne Natvik hit a great ball. Arnstein Haraldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kleiv in the 57th minute of play. Arne Syvertsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Roe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Øyvind Hvattum in the 65th minute of play. Arnstein Haraldsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Tobiassen in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Młode Smoki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Høye came free, but Arnstein Haraldsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Jan Kleiv notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen. Jo Høye's late challenge caught a Młode Smoki FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jo Høye helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Młode Smoki FC booed when Kvåle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Høye didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kvåle's Thomas Grøndal got a free kick in the 76th minute. Aleksander Rydland scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Roe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Høye in the 81st minute of play forced Młode Smoki FC's goalkeeper Arnstein Haraldsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnstein Haraldsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Høye, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 92nd minute Jo Høye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnstein Haraldsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kvåle's Bendik Bjørnøy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnstein Haraldsen. That made the score 1-5 after 93 minutes of play. The Młode Smoki FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kvåle were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
