A collision led to Pepega FK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edgard Bjerkestrand hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Schrøder got free with Inge Ryeng in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Wilhelmsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Edvin Tangerud having to interfere. Fredrik Heldal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A long shot from Åsmund Vestnes in the 21st minute of play was well struck, but Inge Ryeng made a really good save at the right post. Edgard Bjerkestrand scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John-Edvin Tangerud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Shankley-boys's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Bjerkestrand came free, but John-Edvin Tangerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John-Edvin Tangerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Bjerkestrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Pepega FK's Edgard Bjerkestrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John-Edvin Tangerud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Edgard Bjerkestrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Shankley-boys's Theodor Kjærvik got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Sæle in the 41st minute of play forced Pepega FK's goalkeeper Inge Ryeng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John-Edvin Tangerud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 55 played minutes Pepega FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Heitmann. Karl Ringvold struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Inge Ryeng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shankley-boys. Roald Bratlie hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kenneth Tangen, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Inge Ryeng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Schrøder in the 68th minute of play. Edgard Bjerkestrand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of John-Edvin Tangerud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pepega FK! Inge Ryeng had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Åsmund Vestnes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgard Bjerkestrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Edvin Tangerud having to interfere. Kenneth Tangen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Edvin Tangerud having to interfere. Edgard Bjerkestrand scored 0-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John-Edvin Tangerud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The nice shot from Edgard Bjerkestrand in the 91stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but John-Edvin Tangerud had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Bjerkestrand in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John-Edvin Tangerud saved Shankley-boys from getting behind. Edgard Bjerkestrand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, John-Edvin Tangerud skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Shankley-boys getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ivar Øvrebø hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Schrøder in the 98th minute of play forced Pepega FK's goalkeeper Inge Ryeng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepega FK played a much better game than Shankley-boys and deserved their victory. The Shankley-boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
