Christian Molnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Morten Gunnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frengen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arne Holm hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Frengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Holm to maneuver through the defense. When Antonio Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Valebjørg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Pacheco couldn't finish the play. Frengen's Morten Gunnes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Erik Molin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Gunnes in the 28th minute of the match. When Christian Molnes fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frengen's protests and gave Christian Molnes a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Molnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Kvello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Øivind Storebø came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Kvello slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. Arne Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sven-Erik Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Valebjørg getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Antonio Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Frengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Molnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Antonio Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Frengen's Øivind Storebø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Pacheco in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Frengen's Christian Molnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Molin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Antonio Pacheco made a precise shot to the right of Øivind Storebø. Frengen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Pacheco in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Øivind Storebø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ruben Kvello came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Valebjørg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Kvello couldn't finish the play. Øivind Røren charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Øivind Røren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Øivind Røren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Frengen's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Pacheco came free, but Øivind Storebø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Antonio Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Øivind Storebø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frengen's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Valebjørg had won, even though Frengen had held more of the ball.
