The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ole-Jostein Habberstad was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Tvete struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Christian Rygh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girthquake. Girthquake's Hans Barstad got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Samuel Tvete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Christian Rygh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ingvar Stensvold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skogsfjord's Christian Rygh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Tvete in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Skogsfjord getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gard Wold hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Ingvar Stensvold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Christian Rygh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Ingvar Stensvold notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Skogsfjord's Christian Rygh. Christian Rygh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Girthquake booed when Skogsfjord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Jostein Habberstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Girthquake were the better team. Girthquake's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
