Arnstein Worren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 余南康 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Ingvar Stensvold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Hans Barstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Tvete kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 9thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Byggda IL's keeper Mao Jun Xu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Byggda IL's zone, Samuel Tvete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Jun Xu came out of the goal and Samuel Tvete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Girthquake's goal looked a bit too open when Roar Gjelsvik came free, but 余南康 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Byggda IL booed when Girthquake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Tormod Kristiansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 余南康 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 余南康 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnstein Worren, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ingvar Stensvold had several of the Byggda IL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Mao Jun Xu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mao Jun Xu was a little too slow when Ingvar Stensvold got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 45th minute, Arnstein Worren made a precise shot to the right of 余南康. Girthquake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roar Gjelsvik to make the kick off. Samuel Tvete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roar Gjelsvik was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 68 minutes, Øyvind Jordet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Byggda IL and the Girthquake players grew even worse after the yellow card. Øyvind Jordet kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Byggda IL's Tormod Kristiansen got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnstein Worren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Jerardo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Arnstein Worren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Stensvold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Jun Xu having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Byggda IL's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Tvete came free, but Mao Jun Xu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Tvete in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Jun Xu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Byggda IL were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Girthquake to leave the ground with a draw.
