In the 12th minute, Storm Furu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kirkenær BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Trond Halstensen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Håvard Skramstad. If Storm Furu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Kirkenær BF got a freekick which was hit by Jarle Tverberg. 30 minutes into the match, Kirkenær BF's goal looked a bit too open when Trond Halstensen came free, but Håvard Skramstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Frank Alver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Do. Thy and Tomren FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Alver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thomas Do didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Storm Furu went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thomas Bjørnå charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Bjørnå the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Thy and Tomren FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Bjørnå to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 53 minutes, Storm Furu made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Thy and Tomren FC's Thomas Do tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Storm Furu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Do. Thomas Do dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. A collision led to Thy and Tomren FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Trond Halstensen hit a great ball. Thomas Do came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kirkenær BF's Storm Furu. But to his dismay, Storm Furu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 68 minutes into the game, Hans Naustdal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Thy and Tomren FC's Thomas Bjørnå quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the game, one of Thy and Tomren FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Kirkenær BF. Jarle Mortensen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomas Do. 7-1. A sloppy throw-in by Jarle Tverberg in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thy and Tomren FC's Eilif Misund.
