Markus Stensrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Thu was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Skogsfjord's Ole-Jostein Habberstad got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Skogsfjord getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gard Wold hit a great ball. SK Skrenten's Endre Baardsen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Christoffer Wessel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Endre Baardsen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Skogsfjord's Christian Rygh. Christian Rygh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Endre Baardsen in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Rygh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Endre Baardsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Endre Baardsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Christoffer Wessel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skogsfjord's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Wessel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th match minute, SK Skrenten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgeir Paulsrud to maneuver through the defense. Endre Baardsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Rygh having to make a save. If Rikard Eide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Holmvik's late challenge caught a SK Skrenten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Holmvik helped the player get up and apologised. Fredrik Holmvik kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Skogsfjord getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Svend Westad hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, SK Skrenten's Endre Baardsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Rygh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ole-Jostein Habberstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Markus Stensrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Jostein Habberstad in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes SK Skrenten got a freekick which was hit by Torgeir Paulsrud. Endre Baardsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Ole-Jostein Habberstad took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Markus Stensrud to make any attempt to save it.
