Byggda IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roar Gjelsvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Simen Sæbø came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Byggda IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simen Sæbø couldn't finish the play. Endre Baardsen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Saffet Onatkan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Morten Hegland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mao Jun Xu skillfully saved the ball. Roar Gjelsvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Skrenten's Endre Baardsen got a free kick in the 29th minute. Roar Gjelsvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Roar Gjelsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Stensrud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Roar Gjelsvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roar Gjelsvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Markus Stensrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ragnar Thu during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roar Gjelsvik in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Byggda IL booed when SK Skrenten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Eide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byggda IL's Arnstein Worren got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ragnar Thu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arnstein Worren managed to get in a good position for a shot.
