Spectators: 8506 (Terracing: 6435, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 171) In the 3rd minute, Tromsdalen's Kim Aksdal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kim Aksdal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tromsdalen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kim Aksdal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, Kim Aksdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jim Westerlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mambu Mumba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Westerlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Frode Aukland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tromsdalen's Martin Benjaminsen got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barr Oca got free with Jan-Frode Aukland in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tromsdalen getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Martin Benjaminsen hit a great ball. Jan-Frode Aukland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Westerlund in the 19th minute of the match. When Mambu Mumba FC's Jim Westerlund in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tromsdalen's goalie prevented a goal. When Martin Benjaminsen fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tromsdalen's protests and gave Martin Benjaminsen a yellow card for diving instead. Marius Ekeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Preben Ensrud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vetle Stensby, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jan-Frode Aukland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Weller in the 37th minute of the match. Jim Westerlund scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Frode Aukland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Mambu Mumba FC's Marius Ekeberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Westerlund in the 48th minute of play forced Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vetle Stensby to make the kick off. Jan-Frode Aukland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Weller's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Tromsdalen's Roger Rogstad got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jan Weller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Frode Aukland having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Jim Westerlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jan-Frode Aukland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mambu Mumba FC booed when Tromsdalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Reiten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Frode Aukland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Westerlund in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Tromsdalen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Espen Reite hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Mambu Mumba FC's Marius Ekeberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Frode Aukland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mambu Mumba FC's Jan Weller got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zygmunt Bury kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Marius Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jan-Frode Aukland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Frode Aukland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Westerlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
