Ole-Jostein Habberstad started the match with the kick off. Idar Fjelde struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Christian Rygh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thy and Tomren FC. Skogsfjord's Christian Rygh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trond Halstensen in the 6th minute of play. Christian Rygh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trond Halstensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Rygh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Larsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Martin Horgen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Skogsfjord's Christian Rygh. Christian Rygh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trond Halstensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Christian Rygh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thy and Tomren FC's Idar Fjelde quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fredrik Øvergaard, made in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Skogsfjord's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Larsen came free, but Christian Rygh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Do showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Jostein Habberstad in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Skogsfjord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Nodeland to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Skogsfjord's goal looked a bit too open when Torjus Nordmark came free, but Christian Rygh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Bjørnå fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Rygh having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Skogsfjord's Ole-Jostein Habberstad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Do narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Idar Fjelde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thy and Tomren FC and the Skogsfjord players grew even worse after the yellow card. Idar Fjelde hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Bjørnå in the 40th minute of play forced Skogsfjord's goalkeeper Christian Rygh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trond Halstensen made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Thy and Tomren FC got a freekick which was hit by Idar Fjelde. In the 56th minute, Ole-Jostein Habberstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trond Halstensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Rygh having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Skogsfjord's goal looked a bit too open when Trond Halstensen came free, but Christian Rygh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ole-Jostein Habberstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thy and Tomren FC's Thomas Do played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Jostein Habberstad in the 70th minute of play. Trond Halstensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Christian Rygh made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Trond Halstensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thy and Tomren FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gard Wold made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ole-Jostein Habberstad. Gard Wold hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Thy and Tomren FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skogsfjord.
